There's nothing like...

A Daddy who cares.

Just the other night I was heading out of the house to hang out with some friends. My Dad seemed uneasy and so I asked if that was ok and he said to me, "Laura, just don't be out super late ok." At first I kind of laughed to myself and thought, "Oh Dad, you know I'm not stupid." Instead I told him that I wouldn't and that I loved him very much. So off we went out to play, but I couldn't stop thinking about those words that he said to me. He knows I'm an adult and that I would've probably done what I wanted, but I just couldn't shake it from me. And then Whit said something along the lines of, "That was the sweetest thing that your Dad said that to you." That's when it hit me. I know without a doubt that my Dad cares for me more than I could ever imagine! Here I am thinking I can just do whatever without thinking twice. I just want to have fun...but sitting at home is the sweetest man alive worrying himself over what his daughter just might be doing. Goodness. Where do I even begin to repay him for the love he has shown me?? I absolutely love my Daddy. He is more amazing then ten amazing things!! I am so happy that I have a Dad who cares about me enough to worry and wonder where I am. I am glad that he keeps me from getting into trouble. And I am so glad that I can come home to him and know that he doesn't have to be disappointed in his little girl. I certainly wouldn't be the person I am today if I didn't have him. I love you Dad!
